Algeria coach Vahid Halilhodzic announced his 23 man squad to compete at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon), the veteran coach brought in a mixture of youthful and experienced players.
Halilhodzic said his main objective is to attain a semifinal spot. The Algerians are in Group D which comprises Ivory Coast, Togo and Tunisia.
The Fennec Foxes will kick-start their Afcon 2013 campaign in South Africa against fellow North Africans Tunisia on January 22 at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg.
